We hope for a new car

or we hope for clear weather

I think true hope is deeper than that

Hope seems to come from

knowing things will get better

Knowing no matter what happens

we have the emotional and spiritual tools

to not only survive, but maybe even grow

Hope can appear in the most unlikely places

For me my hope comes from God

That He has given me gifts which will

help me through whatever comes

What is out of my hands I give to Him

Even things that I am able to help with 

I ask for His wisdom and love

I do not say these things with any

authority or because I think I have the key to life

I say these things to pass on what has helped me

and maybe might help someone else

I do this with a loving heart for anyone

who reads this and my wish for you

is that you have much hope

in whatever way you perceive it
