This is a poem that reflects on thoughts and feelings I have about making a will.

Today someone asked if I had a will

Such a doom and gloom thought

But - is it?

Doesn't my faith say I will be with Jesus?

Won't I be home to where I oringinated?

Isn 't that what Easter is about?

Yes, yes it is

So why am I still scared?

I guess my faith isn't strong enough yet

But that is o.k.

My soul and heart know

They know where my true home is

I just need to work on my emotional part

Not such a bad thing to work on during lent

Is it

yes, there is no fear of death in Christ, but I must confess somedays I struggle with that and somedays, the thought of it brings me great joy and makes my heart skip a beat. What a glorious day it will be huh?

We only know earth and our environment and it isn't easy to leave, even with faith in an everlasting heaven with our Creator.
No one truly wants to die,in normal circumstances...I have a living will with my funeral all paid for,and list of how I want things so my son or whomever, won't have to deal with it. I have my clothes selected in a special place in the closet ;-) no sense in fearing and avoiding it, leaving it for others to worry about.
