This is a poem that focuses on not giving in to depair.
It is easy these days to become worried or sad and rightly so But don't get caught in the trap We need to have compassion for our brothers and sisters but don't get caught in the trap We hear the news and conversation on the street Don't get caught in the trap Don't get caught in the trap of despair and sense of hopelessness We can't help others if we do Look at what is true and wonderful Keep the light of hope alive Keep the light alive!

Like Mother Theresa said something about not letting pain and sadness make you forget the joy about the risen Christ, I didn't quote it well but my mother in-law sent it to me when I was grieving for my Dad.
