This is a poem for people who might feel frightened or alone tonight.It actually can be for anyone who would like to draw closer to Jesus, but it is dedicated to people who are having a hard time tonight.
Night for some people can be scarey If you live in a high crime area or if you are alone Can I offer a suggestion? If you can close your eyes and imagine Jesus right beside you That's right, now - what would you like to say to him? He is listening with love and will not judge you in any way Tell him what is in your heart Then imagine him holding you and telling you that he loves you deeply and understands you even before you say a word Now, just be with him Rest in him You are at peace now You know you are loved and now you can go to sleep knowing you aren't alone or afraid anymore

Hello Cindy,

This is a poem full of childlike trust. It reminds me of my favorite Psalm 121:7-8 "The Lord will keep you from all harm- He will watch over your life; The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore."
