and hoping they will see what could be

Hoping they can see the possibilities

and trust that others will like your work

You have confidence in your work

Yet wonder- will anyone else like it?

So- you wait to hear from two

publishers who are considering it

and will get back to you

You try not to be impatient

yet, you would sure like to know

Yes, the waiting of an author

can be a little bit of a challenge

But you KNOW that yes will come!

You just don't know

 from whom or when

But you do know when it comes
