One year ago today I took private vows that are blessed by the Catholic church to help me follow Jesus. I had a ritual celebration with my faith group and publically proclaimed my vows.This is my prayer of trying to follow my vows deeply.
Jesus, I ask for strength today to carry out my vows of surrender, joy, compassion, and perseverance One year ago I took my vows to try and follow you more deeply I hope I have lived up to my promise to you Forgive me for the times I slipped As I start a new year of following my vows may I be more attentive to each one and may it lead me to give more of your love to others and grow in my love for you and your beloved people Amen

Your vows and prayers are heartfelt. As a servant of Christ, I love you very much for the person you are and your stand by following his footsteps and laws.
May Christ give you strength daily to continue your vows faithfully even though at times we slip, his forgiveness is what makes all of his children continue to perservere.
