Jesus, I have tried to walk the

path you have in front of me

Yes, I look back every now and then

to learn frim mistakes or challenges

and the smile an laugh over the good times

But I think I just need to be mindful

of the goodness of the people

I see today and nature.

To see how you are alive today

Maybe even more than when

you were physically here

Oh yes, the people I have seen

today true ly have your goodness

For the rest of today please

help me focus on who is

right in front of me

instead of the past or future

There are times to reflect on

those things but for now

I need to just love your people

and be in awe of the beauty you lay before me
