During this holy week I

look at the obedience of Jesus

How even with the mocking and

the severe abuse and  finally

death on a tree he kept doing God's will

He stayed true to the mission God had planned for him

That certainly speaks to how I am

supposed to live my life

Much to live up to- I know

I fall short many times

Yet, I believe he knows my humaness

better than I do

He is fully aware of the weakness

and temptations I have

Yet, he loves me with a love

I can't even imagine

Wow! That is true ly someting

May I ask Jesus for forgiveness

for the times I fall

and know that when

I come to him he will always

pick me up and welcome me

home in his loving arms
