The Spiritual Path

Reflections of the renewal of my baptism vows I proclaimed on Easter, and what it means to me.

I see a path before me

Not knowing where it leads

I hear the call to follow

this path with Jesus

I have said I will follow him

I have said I reject anything

that leads me away from him

So, now I must live the words I proclaimed on Easter

The path looks beautiful

I see it going up a hill

but then I am unable to see anything

I see a cross which I

willingly yet with some fear pick up

Fear of not knowing what elements are in the cross

and how heavy it will be

But, never the less I am on my way

I feel joy and peace

because Jesus is on this path with me

We all do not know where it leads but we follow because He is Lord.
Well written, Cindy.

Karma Bank to Following By Listening by Chiemi

These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
