I am thinking of you today

You, who have been abused

I am wanting to reach out

and offer you a love beyond all love

You may be going through hard times

as you try and make sense of something

that doesn't make sense at all!

But there is someone who CAN

make sense out of life 

Jesus can't  take away the abuse that happened

But he CAN let you know

you are a delight and his joy

You are his beloved daughter or son

He knows what was done to you

He knows your pain

He also knows you CAN live a joyful life

Yes! Yes you CAN!

Let him love you

If you need therapy

that is no crime

In fact it can be a great help 

Always know Jesus is with you

every step of the way

You may wonder how I

can say that since I don't know you

In a sense I do

I was sexually, physically, and emotionally abused

growing up, so I have some idea what you

might be going through

Know that there IS hope and

things CAN get better!
