My night prayer.
The sun is going to sleep The night slowly begins Evening falls and the stars begin to shine as if they are rays of hope and protection God's hope and protection watching over us as we dream of His love and holding us with His wonderful peace and soft gentle hands All we have to do is surrender all our feelings and thoughts Anything that worries us and fall fast asleep as if we are a small child sleeping in their fathers tender care

Lately I appreciate poems dealing with God. This poem created a calming feeling that carried throughout the poem. I read the poem before the Title and I think your title was perfect!...a great poem for the end of a long hectic day! Thanks for posting!

I love th smplicity of these words and this poem. All is true, we wonly have to fall fast asleep trusting God to keep us safe. Remember that prayer also from our youth, Now I lay me down to Sleep.
Love this, Cindy, you are great to put this on for us to enjoy.
