I know you are feeling sad tonight

You have been hurt and

it seems like nothing will

make the pain go away

and  you feel

no one would be able

to help you

Oh, but there is!

Jesus is by your side

Jesus wants to listen

He wants you to feel his comfort

Oh, if you would only turn to him

You don't even need to explain

You may be feeling to much pain

to even utter one word

Just close your eyes and feel

his love and rest in his

water of renewal and hope

Imagine yourself being washed of

all your pain and worries

The pain of loneliness and hurt

will be washed clean

and once again you will sing

praise for the wonders Jesus has done!
