Did you see my people today?

Oh yes Jesus , I saw a man

in our program who has a

history of violence and is

having a hard time

I was a little afraid to be near him

However, I asked if he wanted an extra

t shirt that we had

He took it and said

he would give it to his son

Jesus , you taught me another lesson today

That your love in within everyone

even if they are having a hard time

He didn't want the shirt for himself

Yes, it is just a simple example

yet it did open my eyes once again

I saw three people who welcomed me

into the office I was going to share with them

I saw a woman I am trying to help

say how much she appreciated me

I also was told in a nice way

that one of the people I work

with didn't do her job very well

I took responsiblity for not supervising her well

But the Director wouldn't let me

He said he liked me to much

and it wasn't my fault

Yes Jesus, I met your people today

There are many other examples

but I learned much

during just an ordinary day
