In this prayer I try and show how our painful feelings can be very difficult, but they will not stop us from following Jesus because of his wonderous light within us.
Night will not defeat me! Fear will not control me! Sadness will not stop me! Even Loneliness has no power! When these feelings come I will take one step at a time with Jesus I will move forward and say to the night - I know you are there, I even know I can learn much from you But! I will not let you dictate my life! My light comes from the source of all love and life My light comes from Jesus! I sleep in his peaceful light I sleep in his love Good night Jesus

Beautiful write of steadfast faith, even in the times of sadness/lonliness/fear/uncertainty! That's all it takes: trusting in Jesus in ALL things and knowing He WILL bring you through the fire! Well penned, Cindy; brava!
