In this poem I reflect on how we must have a connection to Jesus.I tend to think the connection comes first and then we can read the Bible knowing the love of Jesus. It also helps to know the history and who the writer was writing to in each of the books of the Bible. I debated with myself if they all work together. I still came up with having a deep connection with Jesus first.Then we can come to the Bible and worship on Sundays with joy and prayer. That may be a little controversial. If you have a diffferent oppinion I have much respect for your faith as I hope you do for mine.Thank you so much for reading my thoughts.
What is spiritual wisdom? Is it knowing the words of scripture? Is it memorizing prayers? Is it going to church every Sunday? Or knowing the history of Chritsitanity? Yes, it could be those things But I believe it goes deeper Connection with the holiness of Jesus with us Connection with the holiness of each person we meet Connection with the holiness of nature There we find wisdom which will lead us to the Bible Which will lead us to prayer Which will spark our desire to know the history of Christianity and the wisdom we can learn from other religions. But I think it starts with being connected to Jesus
