This prayer is especially for Karla, but for all whose fathers have died. Including me. I lost my dad is 1980. You are loved especially on Fathers's day.
A prayer for all who don't have their fathers on father's day My heart is with you My soul cries with you I have no way to make your pain vanish or make your father appear and hold you I only have my faith to give I give you the truth that Jesus is with you and wants to hold you He wants to share this journey with you Take a minute with no noise or thoughts and imagine Jesus looking at you with eyes that go straight to your heart When he looks ,you know that he not only understands what you feel but is feeling it with you Let him hold you Let him love you He will NEVER leave you He will NEVER die Maybe then you will be able to sleep tonight feeling his loving arms around you Good night my friend

Thank you for this poem, Cindy. I lost my dad on June 22, last year and with today's Father's Day holiday -- the first without him -- and tomorrow's year anniversary of his passing, it's especially tough, right now. Still, knowing that he and Our Heavenly Father look down upon me is comforting.
