This is a prayer for anyone dying tonight

I pray that you aren't alone

But if you are alone

I am with you

I AM with you!

If I was there physically

I would hold your hand

and ask what you would like

I would read your favorite

book to you or sing your favorite song

If you believe in Jesus we would pray

You are closer to Jesus than you

have ever been in your life

You are going to be home with him soon

He will welcome you with open arms

and your soul will know you are home

You are finally home!

I pray your loved ones

know the joy you will be feeling and living

even through their grief

You are going home

Where you first started as

a thought from God

Where your soul was born

Welcome home!
