Jesus, as I start this day
I ask that you help me
open my heart to all I encounter
That the light of compassion which you
have generously given me
shines brightly and gives hope
I ask that when people see me
they see a reflection of you
So much so ,that when I am
with them they no longer see
me but you and your love
I ask for a spiritual wisdom
so I can reveal your words
is some small way
May I be a song with
you as the composer
and author of the words
I ask this with an open heart and soul

I have found that a lot of people shy away from working with people who are 'different'. . .particularly if intelligence or mental health is at issue. More's the pity. Miss so much, don't they?
