Jesus, you say to pack light
on my journey
I become so concerned
about material things
and completing goals
I have set
I worry about people and situations
I scurry about , here and there
thinking there are many projects
I need to do
Not only do I need
to do them, but I think
I need to do them perfectly
I have many things
in my back pack that weight me down
You say to unload those problems
and instead put something new
Faith, compassion,joy, forgiveness
and much prayer
What a much lighter backpack that would be
