Forgiveness

This is a prayer I thought of tonight.

Jesus, I forgive all who have ever hurt me

They must have been hurting in some way

I ask you to forgive me

Please forgive me when my ego

get's in the way

Please forgive me when I don't

trust you and the gifts you

have given me to help me through

Please forgive us when we don't

see each person as your beloved child

As a human race we are connected to

You as our creator

Please forgive us when we forget

to love one another

Please forgive anyone who

abuses someone tonight

May they here your voice

saying the person they are

going to abuse is Your child

Please forgive us

Have mercy on us
