Jesus, I pray for our world
We are a people with much potential
We have creativty, knowledge, compassion
and many other skills
But we also have a side of us
that wants revenge
Wants "what is mine"
A part where the ego can get
out of control
I ask your forgiveness and
to please help us listen to your
loving whisper and love within us
Help us to strengthen the part
of us that is loving, peaceful, and faithful
Only then can our potental as a
caring understadning world be met
