What did you see today?

Jesus, I saw a woman who

lost her sister and was going to

her funeral trying to cope with her pain

I saw a man trying to help others

but feeling like he didn't have much

left to give

I saw four people over ninety years old

who have had many struggles

yet able to laugh and care about each other

What did you learn my child?

I learned , I am to be with people who are

broken hearted and need tender care

You brought her to me to bring your love

I learned from the man who is very tired

that people in social services also need love

The four people who I ate dinner with taught

me perseverance and how life can be full

and joyful no matter how old you are

Those are good lessons

One more thing you must learn tonight

What is it Jesus?

Tonight you must learn to give all

of your life to me

All your life!

I will lead you

There are actions you must do

There is love you must show

But for now my child

sleep knowing your in the craddle of my arms

You are in the soft gentle blanket of my love

Sleep  with the sound of angels

singing a sweet lullaby

Yes. Yes Jesus I will
