Have you ever really looked at who your are?

Completely open and without any mask?

Might sound scarey, but if you look closely

and go deep enough you will find a glorious light

Yes, we have our ego and weaknesses

As we look at them, there is no need

to judge or be critical of ourself

We all have ego which makes it

difficult to follow Jesus at times

I usually laugh at myself and say

Oh, there I go again

If we go beyond our weaknesses

we then meet the gifts God has given us

Maybe it is singing, or writing

Perhapes it is science

God was pleased to give us our gifts

The if we continue to go deeper we

will eventually see a most beautiful

light filled with hope and love

which is beyond words or images

This is where we also meet out soul

Yes, our soul

This light knows Jesus and was

with him before we were born

It will be with Jesus eternally

This is our deepest and true self

Not so scarey after all- right?

We are a light of hope and love
