How blessed I am to be able to work
It gives me the responsibilty of doing
tasks that hopefully give hope to others
It teaches me the challenge and joy of love
It provides opportunities for growth in
trying to live my faith
Yes, it is a wonderful gift
May I always be thankful
Even on the days which are hard
If I lose my job due to the economy
I will survive by discerning where
Jesus wants me to
provide hope for others
Jesus is my source of any
compassion or joy I bring
I just need to be open to his love
and use the gifts he has given me
