Jesus, how can I thank you?
Many are the gifts you give
My joy comes from the life
and breathe you have given me
The heart you created to love
and to be be loved by you
I only want to know and love
you more each day
I pray this humbly knowing
at times my ego gets in the way
and I want to feel important or appreciated
Yes, I know that is human
Please help me to know when
I let my desires get in the way
of your will for me
so that I can be a living prayer of
love for you
