I am given life

What a gift!

My life of sixty years

has been an adventure

of learning and getting to

know Jesus and how to

love him and his beloved children

Yes, there have been some

times of pain that only Jesus and I know

But it was then that he held me and

we traveled the hard path together

The joyous times were almost like a

glimpse of heaven

The times we celebrated were

filled with song and dance

Now, I look to the future

What a wonderful journey

it will be!

What surprises await me?

What mountains will we climb?

I welcome the future and pray

I can bring Jesus and his love

and understanding to all
