I work in a very high crime area. Some of our staff have had a person pull a knife on them. Several thefts, and last night a man was killed at a liquor store right next door to us.I can't and won't let those things stop me from trying to do my ministry. Yes, I admit I am a little scared. But faith helps alot!
Yes, there is violence
Yes, there is sadness and pain
We can't let that stop us
from trying to build up
people who are hurting
We can't let that stop
us from going into areas
that have alot of crime
so we can give the
eternal love Jesus has given us
Yes, there is fear
We can't deny it
But we can't let that
stop us from living the
courage we have received
from the Holy Spirit
One step at a time we
will bring Jesus to others
just as they bring him to us
