This line was in a song we sang today at church and it seemed to speak to me.I should add that I believe all of us are already in the family of God. This poem is attempting to help someone realize this and feel apart of this family.
All our welcome in the family of God There is always room for you You say you don't feel worthy or how can God love me He created you and blessed your very first breathe He see's your heart and He knows the pain you have experienced He knows the awesome holy light within you and the goodness which is waiting to shine even more than it already is Oh yes, there is room for you We are a family of weakness and courage We are a family of doubt and faith But we are a family that is loved There are many members of our family From all religions, cultures and backgrounds Come to the family of God! There is room for you!

Two things strike me about this.
You are in the right church- and it is lucky to have you.
In the church I sometimes attend it is said "There is always room in the circle."
