As my young daughter looked at me
ahe seemed eager to talk
She asked
Mommy why are you so happy?
Why do you pray so much?
I smiled at her and said
I am happy because God gave me
the most precious daughter in the world
God picked you just for me
I pray so much because I want to thank
God for you every day and I want
to ask God to teach me how to
love you with my whole heart
My daughter had the biggest
smile and her eyes
looked like they had stars in them
She looked so happy
She looked at me and said
I know you love me mommy
I love you too
and we hugged

I have two daughters and a son and I pray a Thank-you to God for each of them, one for my wife and one for each of five grandchildren.
