We can not expect the glories of heaven here on earth. We can only serve God and seek the glories of our reward in heaven. I lost my job in 1998, lost my home six months later. I lost my first born son in 1999 on Christmas Day. I stood sound in my faith through the horrors of these two years, because I never expected Heaven on earth. After the year 2000, my wife became pregnant and we had our second son and then our third. My finances are secure and we just moved into a new four bedroom home. God DOES NOT ALLOW us to suffer more then we can withstand. We must just continue to serve and not question why this is not heaven, because this life was never promised to be perfect. It matters not how high you fly on the holy cloud, others will only join you on their designated.
I used to have a cloud of my own so I know where you're coming from.
