Just as Jesus was

in a manger in the nativity story

He is in the manger

 of our soul

Our soul now is

His manger and

our heart is the

hay in which he sleeps

His cry is for people who

are huritng and He asks us

to help those in need

His laugh is for the joy in life

His sleeping is peace and surrender

to the will of God 

May we nuture the heavenly

light of Jesus within us

by growing in faith and love

Jesus is home in our soul

At Christmas we try and have

Jesus who is living within us

become born into the world

By the way we live our life

But we could not do this

without the presence of Jesus

in our soul

When we have completed

our journey on earth He will

be born to us in the most remarkable way!
