Jesus Hears The Cry of the Children

Jesus hears the cry of children being abused and will treat them with gentle care and love.

I hear the cry of the child

as they are being sexually abused

I hear the sounds of the beating

when a child is being hit

I hear the voices when

a child is told you will

never amount to anything

I wish you were never born

Yes, I hear the sound of the poor

I will cherish them and

tend them with care

I will be there hope and love

them with passion and understanding

They are my beloved children

and they will know I hear their cries

He does indeed!! In his own time, and his own way he will met out punishment for those unrepentant for the unmerciful crimes they commit. Wonderful dedication to the little ones..Blessings

Yes, God will surely take care of them, even though it seems that He is not there,in time they will know He was always with them. Well done, Cindy,on a difficult subject!

Love,
Eileen

This is a very expressive but very sad poem about animals preying on children in our society. It is truly amazing that Christ will forgive them too. Amen

Here today a 13 year old told on her male sitter, neighbor, who had been sexually abusing her for 6 months or more. She finally told her mother. When I grew up this was a hush-hush. No one would believe this about the nice man next door or down the road or the nice deacon or minister of the church. Today some parents are finally waking up to the truth about sexual abuse. Very good work, Cindy.

This hits too close to home, especially about the part about "you'll never amount to anything" and "i wish you had never been born"; years later i still feel the pain. I have forgiven my abusers (my two older sisters and my parents, especially my mom, as well as my grandmother on my daddy's side), but i will never forget. powerful heartrending cry for action; it shouldn't hurt to be a child, as it says in that commercial!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in tx., karen lynn. :( *tears!*
