As the sun rises
may you also feel
the light of Jesus
As you open your eyes
may you see the blessings
of this day
May you walk with Jesus
and know he will give
you the courage you
need to face challenges
the day might bring
May you feel the compassion
of his heart beating within
and the wonder of his presence
in creation and our brothers and sisters
May you know you are cherished
and loved as a beloved child of God
