As I rise I imagine
Jesus smiling and saying
Good morning sunshine!
Welcome to a new day!
There are so many
things I want to show you
and many of my beloved children
you will meet
Will you notice the
birds and the wondrous
creation God has created?
Will you see the goodness?
in all your brothers and sisters?
This is your day to show my love
So welcome the day with
prayer and thanksgiving
Welcome each person you meet
with the love I have placed in your heart
