Our heart is longing
Our soul is thirsting
for waters of rebirth

It's almost time
The hour has
almost come

Lent is just
around the corner
and we await it's holy wisdom

Seeing with new eyes
and hearing with
spiritual awareness and love

Opening our most
deepest self to Jesus
and knowing we need forgiveness

Being mindful of areas
we not only want to
hide from Jesus but ourselves as well

Jesus says
Be not afraid
for I am with you

What will this
lent teach us?
Where will the Holy Spirirt lead us?

Let's travel this lent together
and know Jesus will be
smiling with compassion as we explore our faith
