Vision not as clear
Hearing not as sharp
Not able to exercise as long
Hair turning color
Few more wrinkles
Have attended too many funerals
Guess we could
become depressed at
the thought of getting older
Yet- is it depressing?
I see each skill
or function we lose bringing us closer to heaven
As if the vision
we have lost is
now in heaven
We may lose
some of our functions
as we age
But they really
haven't left us
at all
They are with Jesus
as he holds
them with care
Waiting for the
glorious reunion of
a life joyous and free!
