Lenten Call of Jesus

This is the kind of prayer I'll be doing this lenten season.

I hear the call of Jesus
Asking me to come
to him this lenten season

I am here!
I am here
he gently whispers

I have no words
only my heart
Only my soul

Together we rest
I feel his loving
presence as I go further within

Jesus, my heart and my soul
We are united
We are one

His light integrating
His love consuming
His song dwelling within me

My souls desire almost satisfied
But knows our true home
Only then it's desire will be completely fulfilled

Slowly coming back to
reality, and open my eyes
Yet, I was in the presence of eternal truth and reality
