This is a meditational prayer.
Resting in the melody of the heart Gentle sweet song of compassion and peace Calming the storms within Quieting the stress Slowly drifting to our most holy sanctuary Our soul awaits with the burning fire of faith and goodness Now we are one with Jesus Now we are whole But we have to gradually open our eyes and begin a new Now we feel ready to share the light of Jesus to a waiting world

This reminds me of the shoes in our spiritual armor, described as "the preparation of the gospel of peace." Without preparation (time spent with the Lord,) we just are not ready to speak in His Name and share "the light of Jesus."
