Heart and Soul

This is the way I try and see each person I meet.

Beyond the exterior

Beyond the weaknesses

Beyond the status in life

money, disability, or age

There is our sacred soul

Each person sacred and holy

Each person created by God

How I wish we could live with this reality

I pray that one day this truth and faith

will spread like a blazing fire!

I bow to the eternal light

within each human being

I bow to the awesome wonders

of God in creation and the Holy

Spirit who breaths within our lives

Today- you who are reading this

I bow to your most holy heart and soul

Amen
