We open our eyes
and experience our heart

How can we
thank God for
all the love given?

How can we live
a day of compassion
forgiveness, and thanksgiving?

We surrender all we
are and all our
efforts to You this day

We give you our heart
Our soul is in Your hands
Now we begin our journey

God of the universe
God of all creation
abides in our hearts!

How are we to
understand such a
wondrous eternal love?

Perhaps too glorious
to understand only
to be lived
