When the sun arises
and dawn slowly draws near
we hear the voice of Jesus
and we rise from our own fear
Night and pain have gone
Our tears have been wiped away
Jesus is holding us fast
We know it's a new day
New day of hope and dreams
New day of faith and love
We open our eyes with expectation
Look! There is a peaceful dove!
Let us greet this day
as a gift and with prayer
We have our heart open with love
and a desire to share
Bless this holy and sacred day
Bless the children as they grow
Bless the lonely and forgotten
May God's blessings flow

Beautiful prayer, Cindy. Just being able to wake up and get out bed and walk and talk is a miracle to me. So many are bedridden and can't get up, in wheelchairs, etc. I try to count my blessings, Cindy. You do amazing writes for our Lord.
