Your soothing melody plays
You begin in our soul and
then at times slowly emerge
with words of our own truth
Other times you come as
a quick stream of refreshing water
covering us with joy and excitement
which we must express with our heart
Sometimes it seems you have
gone on vacation and we wonder
if you'll return
We try different methods
to call and invite you
and sure enough when it's time
you appear and again we rejoice
