This is a prayer I wrote this morning to ask Jesus to help me write words that are pleasing to him and encourage.
Come Holy Spirit
Come Holy Light
Listening to my heart
singing with delight
Words that encourage
Words that ring true
Longing to bring
something faithful and new
Jesus please guide me
Show me your sacred way
So much I want to share
So much I want to say
May my words be love
Bring comfort and serene peace
I know it's much to ask
your spirit longing to be released
Place me as a pencil
in your holy hands
Please use me for your words
So many will understand
Now I feel your spirit
Now it's time to write
Help me remember Jesus
You are always in my sight
Amen
