A mother's advice to a searching son.

              Saddle up, Cowboy!

Don't forget ta put yer boots on.

For the open range,

packed with Bow-legged Mauraders,

Buckin' Broncos,

Steroid-Steers, and a

Patient Mare or two,

Awaitin' a ride to yer Genteel-Oasis.

              Saddle up, Cowboy!

Don't forget ta put yer mask on,

For the plains a comin'

'er sprinkled with

Pseudo-Strangers and Pseudo-Friends,

Lettered Honey-Hags and

a Clergy or two,

hankerin' ta start circlin' 'round yer

                Searchin'-Heart.

              Saddle up, Cowboy!

Don't forget ta wear yer shiny-shield,

For yer badge of PRIDE offers protection

from Stormy-Elements, Sage Pretenders,

Twirlin'-Tumbleweeds, and a

swirlin' Sand-Storm or two,

as ya go a-ridin' towards horizon's Best.
