King Solomon was credited with being named as the wisest man that there ever was. One day two women who claimed to be the mother of one infant came to him for a judgment as to which woman had the right to keep the baby. Not knowing who was telling the truth, he proclaimed that the baby should be cut in two, for he knew that the woman who was willing to let the child go was in fact the true and loving mother.
Sobbing once again in my sick bed,
the children tip toe in to ask,
"Are you going to die Mommy?"
I don't know what to say except,
"Don't worry, I'll be fine."
They walk away with heavy hearts.
Sobbing once again in my hospital bed,
three surgeries later and much more abused,
"When are you going to die, Mommy?"
I don't know what to say but I think
this is got good for them to witness this.
I musn't let them be cut in half.

It takes a heart of compassion to understand the sacrifice of a mother who refuses to see her children torn assunder.
I have heard of a mother who wrote letters for her children to be read as they reached certain ages, and for special events in their lives. Maybe it's something you could think about doing.
Depending on how well you feel on different days, perhaps making an album would be good, too. If you do, be sure to write thoughts with the pictures. Just do what you are up to....it will be treasured.

For to write about a wise old king is great especially from a book that never ends
So it's time to write much more poetry, I just want to encourage you my dear friend.
There is nothing like the love of a true mother. Anyone can give birth, but to be a warm and tender loving mother is a gift from your higher power. I would die for my children and their children.
