Down a dusty road long never travelled
Where secrets of life have yet to be unravelled
The clouds above focus the light
Onto angels and birds who were born to fly
And lift themselves up to an iridescent sky

I see the beauty that is your face
Your eye's soothing song that marks your grace
Driving away all winter night
The epiphany strikes that you are the one
As rays of life pour from the sun

Onto the road they strike hard and bold
Leaving all dust in their path to turn to gold
The radience that flows is beyond bright
Along this road now there is no end
For I have come to see that you are a friend

In times of trial and times of rain
We are each other's shield from the pouring pain
I will defend you always no matter the fight
As long as there are those who would knock you to the ground
I standfast to make sure you do not stay down

The golden road now turns to something more
As our hearts are opened to know what they are for
And they are gifted with love's inner sight
Diamonds flow the road beyond now
Leaving us to wonder not why but how

Roses bloom and pierce the road's side-strewn fields
And Death and Suffering have no choice but to yield
To friendship's now unending might
Now I look 'round to see angels rising again
Joy upon joy flows through my essence when
