Dilly-dally-dancing anytime or anywhere

Do it with a wiggle or a shimmy if you dare

Dancing to music or just to a simple beat

Whether on a stage, in a garden, or the street

Small steps to big turns, right from the very start

Dancing always comes from the bottom of the heart

Dilly-dally-dancing makes you smile and makes you pink

Whatever makes you happy, do whatever you think

Dilly-dally-dancing wherever you may go

Movements from your head right down to your pinky toe

Balance with your arms and do a few high and low kicks

Perhaps you’ll even add some old and new tricks

Leaping up and over the white picket fence

This is all about a little dilly-dally-dance

There’s all different kinds of dance for each and everyone

Doesn’t matter how, just as long as you have fun

Dilly-dally-dancing with a twirl, and leap so high

So close to the birds, you’ll feel that you could fly

Moving up and down, then front to back, and left to right

Just love it that you can dance from the morning until night

Dilly-dally-dancing alone or in a crowd

Oh how you’ll dream as if you’re high up in a cloud

Come on now everyone, and join us in this dance

Any step you do will boost your confidence

Loosen up, express yourself, without ever loosing pride
