felt
in waves
that hurl
against
the red cliffs
the white foam
lost
snapping back
in the mist
of sea spray
You
are the longing
a sailor feels
for the sea
You
are the sun
a tall oak
reach’s for
constantly
in all the hours
of daylight
I feel
your breath
on the passing
breeze
and almost
taste
your sweet
lingering
scent
captured
in yellow
and white
honeysuckle
that adorns
my roadway
You
are the end
of my path
The vision
in my walk
The comforting
Spirit
I reach for
in my dreams
I hear you
talking
in the voices
found
in chirping crickets
in the glow
of fireflies
dancing with a
million stars
set in your scenic
overture
I have held
the fortune
of all
that love
allowed me
to inherit
and know
the riches
of the rain
Shower me
with all
you are
See
this life
as a debt
that is
eternally
yours
I will repay
as long as I
have breath
lay
in my arms
asleep
I will
whisper
these words
in your ear
So you
may savor
them
slowly
I too
have taken
from the cup
refreshing
this spirit
compelled
to feel
desires
in everything
beautifully
different
about myself
because
you love me

WOW! Sheer poetry! (grin). This is exactly the stuff that melts the heart.. how beautifully and sincerely you have expressed your own heart here.. anyone who would say they dont want someone to feel this way about him/her-self is a damn liar!
