Love or not?

You say the words
The words are there
The words mean nothing
Unless you show you care

Show me the words
Show me you care
But I know you don't dare
Because it's just words that are there

I know to speak them is rare
But, please, if you would
Just show me you care

So you say you love me
My heart and mind want it believed
But when you don't show it
Am I being deceived
