Our goal should be able to touch another life,

give them direction in times of strife,

relate to the degree the suicidal are compelled to drop the knife.

We must relate to the daughter that suffers from despression,

encourage a mother to count her blessings,

instruct and teach sons a valuable lesson.

We must grab hold of the power to relate,

pile up stirring words and messages on their plates,

we must not delay

for a minute's delay may be too late.

Authors, start relating!

Preachers are not excluded from this charge,

as they have souls God hold them accountable to

a task that, at times, may seem so large.

It is a daunting task Ladies and Gentlemen

we must stop being fake

because as one Gospel artist stated

the power to save is in the Power to Relate!
